Oberhof has been a popular destination for over 100 years, attracting visitors with its tranquility, landscape, and fresh mountain air.

The town’s central location in Germany has contributed to its regular hosting of winter sports championships.

Located just a few kilometers from the center, in the Kanzlersgrund area, lies the attractive double ski jump facility at the Rennsteig.

The Hans-Renner-Schanze, built in 1962 and modernized over time, now features a reduced slope, making it ideal for World Cup ski jumping events.

Thanks to its matting surface, the facility can be used by ski jumpers year-round.

The „Kanzlersgrund“ ski jump complex, which includes the 90-meter normal hill completed in 1985, is a visual treat for sports fans and tourists.

It is located about one kilometer from the Grenzadler in the direction of Oberschönau.
